Sarah Thornton



Sarah Thornton joined the Cloverdale Playhouse at the start of the 2016 Season. She received her BFA in Theatre Arts at Wright State University in Ohio and her MFA from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival/ University of Alabama. After moving to NYC, Sarah helped found and run the BAMA Theater Company, an Equity Shakespeare company, while continuing her career as a professional actor both regionally and in NYC. She moved back to Montgomery after nearly a decade to join the Playhouse team. Sarah is passionate about the role a sturdy artistic presence can play in the strength of a community, and she is thrilled to have this opportunity to return home and play a part.

Kadra Parkman



Kadra Parkman of Wallace and Moody Realty, originally began her career in real estate by building a portfolio in single family cash flow properties as well as re-developing residential properties for profit. She is enthusiastic about sharing her wealth of knowledge with others in regards to real estate investments. She has seen the tremendous change and growth that has transformed in the last several decades in this area. From the bustling entertainment district of downtown, the Midtown revitalization, to the residential expansion and commercialization of the East side.

Kadra along with her husband, Brendon, reside with their two younger children on their family cattle ranch in South Montgomery County. They are also active members of Eastmont Baptist Church.


Madeline Burkhardt



Madeline Burkhardt received her Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins University in Museum Studies. She is currently employed as the Adult Education Coordinator at the Rosa Parks Museum at Troy University – Montgomery. Madeline has an interest in engaging the public with their local art community as well as historic preservation.

Clay McInnis

Clay was born and raised in Montgomery and was the first at Auburn to graduate in Sustainable Entrepreneurship. Today he owns Commerce Consulting, a company that manages small political and trade associations. He also is a commercial real estate agent and real estate investor and developer. He is married to Melissa, a former WSFA reporter and they have one son, Anderson.
